RYM Fall Bake Sale -sponsored by the Women’s Group

Hey yo!

Our annual Fall Bake Sale is happening this weekend after all the masses on Sunday. I can already smell the scent of cookies, brownies, and cupcakes wafting through the air…mmmmm! All proceeds will go towards our LA Youth Day / Disneyland trip in March 2010 so please come on out and have a good time with us! There are two ways you can help out:

1. Bake as much as you’d like of whatever you like, and bring it to The LoFT anytime on Sunday, September 27th between 8:00am and 1:00pm. We’ll get them priced and tagged and they’ll go straight out to our table for purchase.

2. If you’re like me and would probably burn the house down trying to work the oven, feel free to hang out with a bunch of us after the masses as we pitch and advertise our baked goods and share with people how important the LA Youth Day trip is for our ministry. We’ll need people to help collect money, layout the baked goods, and of course, talk to each and every person who stops by our table.

LA Youth Day is a wonderful experience where thousands of high school teens gather in the Anaheim Convention Center for a full day of praise & worship with live bands, engaging youth-oriented workshops, and culminating in a mass celebration with the Bishop of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles, Cardinal Roger Mahony. Don’t forget our tradition of stopping by Disneyland before heading home!
