Calling all liturgical ministers!

— EDIT 2/4/2010 1:30am —

It’s all set!!! Our very first FULL youth mass at Resurrection Parish is going to be on Sunday, February 21st! We’re still hoping to make this the biggest youth liturgy this parish has seen yet so if you haven’t signed up to celebrate with us, make sure you do soon! There’s a variety of different liturgical ministries available, but a limited amount of spots open so ‘get dibs’ before it’s too late…

— EDIT —

Due to February 7th being Super Bowl Sunday, our first full blown youth mass will be moved to a different Sunday. Stay tuned…

— EDIT —

How many of you think going to mass could use a little energy boost?!

Ever thought about maybe helping out?

In fact, we’re ALL called to be active participants during mass on Sundays. As Catholic Christians, the mass and more specifically The Liturgy of the Eucharist is the “source and summit” of everything it means to be Catholic. Just like with lots of things, the more people we get involved, the more fun and meaningful it’ll be. Give it a chance… you’ll see 🙂

On February 7th, RYM will be taking over the 5:30pm mass by storm. Adding to the music group we already have, we’ll be making the mass a special youth mass by having all of you participate in the other various ministries. Some examples would be:

  • Usher
  • Proclaimer
  • Eucharistic Minister
  • Offering of the Gifts

We hope to get as many of us up there as we can because, well… it’s just plain MORE FUN that way. Haha.

Shoot us an email, FB msg, or comment right here on the blog and let us know which ministry you’d be interested in trying out. We’ll personally arrange to get you trained and all that good stuff so don’t sweat. It’s a lot easier than you think it is.

Let’s git’er done… 🙂
